Coach Lamb: "What I liked about Alyssa is that while she's a transfer, she looks exactly like someone we would try to recruit. The physical talent is there, watching her move in practice and on her tape at TCU, she fits physically and looks like she belongs in our gym. She's got a nice hand on the ball and her eyes are great, she sees the block and hits around it well and hits off it well. Each day we've seen her in the gym she seems a little more aggressive and a little more powerful. I think she's going to blossom this spring and we've got big plans for her."

Coach Lamb: "Sarah has adapted very well to our team right off the bat. She's been active and busy in practice to go along with the fact that she's a quick study who picks things up fast. There's no question about her natural talent and she's been getting noticeably better daily, plus just a fun person to have in the gym with us. I think the other girls see already how she can impact our program moving forward."
Ava Anderson

High School:Â Played club volleyball.
Personal:Â Daughter of Nicole and Mark Anderson...cousin, Paige Anderson, was an All-Big 12 middle blocker at Oklahoma...born October 26...undecided on a major at Wichita State.
Coach Lamb: "We had her at camp and I loved her motor. I'm always keeping an eye on regional players if they play hard and are interested in us. I remember after listening to her recruiting story and meeting her parents I thought, 'this is someone who is going to take advantage of the opportunity.' It's going to be a big step for her physically, but if she's determined and works hard she can help improve the program."
Olivia Brown

Coach Lamb: "I was coaching my club team and Olivia was on the other side of the net. Her club coach came up to me and I told them, 'your libero (Olivia)Â could play at a lot of places.'Â That turned into her calling us and coming to camps. My staff and I are always interested in hard-working kids who like to train. She was late to the recruiting party but did everything right. I know she's super excited about her opportunity and is taking it very seriously. I expect her to make plays."

Coach Lamb: "One of my favorite recruiting stories. Simone was a right side player by title, but a setter by my evaluation. We saw her in a camp in a setting drill and assumed she was a setter. She acted like a setter, moved like a setter. Later on when she played she was a right side, but I really thought if she made the jump to setter recruiting would change for her immediately. I loved her attitude and how hard she worked and how quickly she picked things up. I can't wait to start training her."

Coach Lamb:Â "I think Grace has everything she needs to be a top-third libero in our league. When we go out recruiting that's what we look for, and as I break down the numbers I think she can pass in the top-third of her position, dig in the top-third and also set hitters out of system. I actually think the most difficult thing for Grace is to become a server at this level, that's my challenge to her to develop that skill and I think she's talented enough to do that."

High School: Four-year letterwinner and four-year starter for head coach Alexis Head at Maize South High School…finished her career with 1,141 kills and 703 digs…a three-time All-State selection, First Team as a senior in 2023, Second Team as a junior in 2022 and honorable mention as a sophomore in 2021…a four-time All-Conference selection, including First Team honors in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons…twice named Class 5A State First Team All-Tournament…a two-time All-Metro selection by the Wichita Eagle as a junior and senior… participated in the 2023 Midwest Battle for Team Kansas…named to the AVCA All-American Watch List…helped Maize South to four consecutive league and regional titles… hit .294 with 344 kills as a senior, adding 220 digs and 31 aces for a Mavericks team that went 38-5 and finished third in Class 5A…also a member of the track & field team at Maize South, set the school record in the high jump.
Â
Personal: Daughter of Matt and Tobie Morrow…has a sister, Norah…father, Matt, played football collegiately at Bethany…mother, Tobie, played soccer collegiately at Friends…born January 7…plans to major in elementary education at Wichita State.
Coach Lamb: "Gracie is one of the better Wichita volleyball athletes I've seen since I've been here. My expectation is for her to become a six-rotation pin player; I expect her to pass and dig and score front row and back. When all the stars line up for Gracie she does things at a really high level. We're looking to decide how we want to use her right off the bat. Is she more of a point scorer, is it more about serve and pass? Eventually, I hope it all comes together because I envision her becoming a very complete player in the program."

Coach Lamb:Â "Nadia was late to the recruiting scene, she didn't get a lot of exposure until a year ago. She's been a diamond in the rough in my opinion. She's powerful and she tries really hard. I watched her improve at every tournament I got to see her at, each time I'd see her out she was making strides. I think she can score for us on both pins and I won't be surprised if she makes an impact sooner than people think. I've got this feeling about her."
