WICHITA, Kan. – Four Wichita State volleyball student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-District Team selected by College Sports Communicators.

Katie Galligan,
Brooklyn Leggett and
Emerson Wilford and junior
Gabi Maas were all named to the team.

Galligan, a libero/defensive specialist from Omaha, Neb., averaged 2.51 digs per set and 0.18 aces per set in 29 matches for the Shockers. She has a 3.92 cumulative grade point average in health science with minors in health management, management, public health and marketing. She earned her bachelor's degree in December 2025.

Leggett, a right-side hitter from Draper, Utah, averaged 3.34 kills per set, 1.02 digs per set and 0.85 blocks per set in 30 matches. She has a 3.50 cumulative grade point average in communication and earned her bachelor's degree in December 2025.

Wilford, an outside hitter from Laguna Hills, Calif., averaged 2.04 kills per set, 0.76 digs per set and 0.42 blocks per set in 30 matches. She has a 3.68 cumulative grade point average in business administration with minors in marketing, management and human resource management. She will earn her bachelor's degree in May 2026.

Maas, a libero/defensive specialist from Aurora, Colo., averaged 4.42 digs per set and 0.20 aces per set in 25 matches. She has a 3.77 cumulative grade point average in exercise science with minors in psychology and sport management.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
