WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State men's golf is ready to hit the links for the first time in the 2023-24 season. The Shockers will gear up and head to Bowling Green, Florida and Streamsong Resort to compete in the Allstate Streamsong Invitational which plays out from September 11

Judd Easterling has been very impressed by the results of his team in qualifiers leading up to this tournament.

"Since I've been head coach here, this has been the best qualifier we've ever had," Easterling said. "The amount of rounds and players we had under par each round was very impressive."

The Shockers starting lineup features four returners and one newcomer in Kansas transfer
Zach Sokolosky. The returning starters for the Shockers in this tournament are senior All-Conference selection
Blake Lorenz, and juniors
Michael Winslow,
Lucas Scheufler, and

Michael Winslow had six rounds of qualifying without posting a score over 70.
Blake Lorenz finished the last two rounds with scores of 65 and 63." Easterling said. "Everybody has been competing at a high level and understands the overall competitiveness of this team."

The Shockers are making their first ever appearance in the Allstate Streamsong Invitational and their first time playing at Streamsong Resort.
The field of 11 teams will play 18 holes each on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with play beginning at 8:30 AM Eastern (7:30 AM Central) each day with a shotgun start.Â
