WICHITA -- Coming off an All-American performance in the high jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships, Brady Palen made the quick turnaround to outdoor season, winning the Shocker Spring Invitational and earning American Athletic Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors.

The junior from Beloit, KS cleared 2.12m/6'11.5" at the home meet to record the 12th-best outdoor mark in the NCAA (DI) this year and lead the conference in the event.

This is Palen's third weekly award and second this year as he prepares for the Texas Relays Friday and Saturday in Austin, Texas.
