WICHITA, Kan. - Twelve Wichita State softball student-athletes were named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes, it was announced Monday afternoon by the NFCA.

Wichita State posted a team GPA of 3.49 during the 2021-22 academic year, placing the Shockers in the Top 75 out of all Division I institutions. Addison Barnard, Caitlin Bingham, Camryn Compton, Alison Cooper, Madyson Espinosa, Jessica Garcia, Neleigh Herring, Lauren Lucas, Erin McDonald, Kenzie Schopfer, Caroline Tallent and Bailey Urban all garnered the prestigious honor of being named an All-America Scholar-Athlete.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must achieve a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA for the 2021-22 academic year only.
