FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Michael Bryan qualified to his second-straight NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the hammer, and
Taran Taylor punched his ticket to Eugene in the javelin Wednesday at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Â
With no finals in the throwing events, the athletes had just three throws to record top-12 marks. With the first throw of the third flight of hammer, Bryan secured his spot in the NCAA Finals with a third-place throw of 69.32m/227'5"; although, all three of his throws easily would have sent him on to Eugene.
Â

Davis Dubbert recorded his second-best throw of the season (62.46m/204'11"), finishing fourth in his flight and 26th overall.
Â
On the track,
Adam Moore wrapped up his season with a 34
th-place finish in the 1500 meters, placing 12 spots higher than he was seeded and missing the auto-qualifying spot in his heat by just one place.
Joakim Genereux closed out night one with a 32
nd-place finish in the 200 meters, which was 13 spots better than he was seeded.
Â
