MESA, Ariz. – The Wichita State men's tennis team opens the ASU Spring Break Tournament with a Friday matchup against American Athletic Conference opponent Tulane at 1:30 p.m.

The No. 72 ranked Shockers (8-6) went 1-1 on their Texas road trip last weekend, dropping a match to then No. 36 Texas Tech but coming out on Sunday with a 4-1 win over UT Arlington.

The Green Wave (4-6) comes into the tournament ranked No. 62 in the nation and beat Wichita State 5-2 last spring. Along with host Arizona State, the Spring Break Tournament features Penn State, Idaho, No. 33 Texas Tech, No. 75 Michigan State and No. 30 Princeton.

Tournament play kicks off on Friday and runs through Sunday, with each team guaranteed to play three matches.
