WICHITA, Kan. – Michael Bryan is the American Athletic Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week after his season-best performance in the weight throw at the Herm Wilson Invitational on Saturday.
 
Bryan launched his fifth throw 20.94m/68-8.5 to win the event by over a meter. He remains atop the AAC weight throw standings and has moved back up to 27^th in the nation in the event.
 
He has now won three of the four meets he has competed in this season.
 
Bryan holds the Wichita State program record in the weight throw with a mark of 21.17m/69-5.5 from last season.
