For the third time in four weeks, Wichita State's Ricky Council IV has been named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll.
 
The 6-foot-6 guard from Durham, N.C. averaged 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals in two games last week while shooting 50% from the field and sinking 9-of-10 free throws. In Sunday's double-overtime thriller against Houston he notched his second double-double of the season (17 points, 10 rebounds).
 
For the season, Council is averaging 11.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals.

The Shockers (13-11, 4-8 American) are off until Sunday when they travel to Memphis (1:30 p.m. CT, ESPN2).
