WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State baseball's annual Alumni Weekend is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 8, and Saturday, Oct. 9.

The weekend is slated to begin with the annual alumni golf tournament Friday at Willowbend Golf Club. The golf tournament is open to both Shocker baseball alumni and the general public.

Lunch and registration start at 11 a.m., prior to golfers teeing off with a noon shotgun start. Registration cost is $300 for an individual or $1,000 for a team (four golfers). All participants will receive a complimentary Shocker souvenir pack along with lunch and course beverages. This year will also feature a silent auction with memorabilia items from Eric Wedge's personal collection.

Game one of the Black and Yellow Fall World Series will wrap up alumni weekend Saturday. First pitch is slated for 1 p.m. at Eck Stadium. This will be a great opportunity to get an early look at the 2022 Shocker baseball team.
