Fall Baseball Dates Announced

WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State will host two fall baseball games against outside competition, while also hosting a five-game Fall World Series. 

The Shockers will open the fall season on Mon., Sept. 13 against Cowley College. It will be an extended-inning game that starts at 3 p.m. at Eck Stadium.
 
On Mon., Sept. 27, Wichita State will host Team Canada (High School) at 4 p.m. at Eck Stadium.

The Shockers will also travel to Nebraska for a fall game on Sat., Oct. 2 at noon.
 
The annual Wichita State baseball Fall World Series will begin on Sat., Oct. 9, at Eck Stadium.  The series will be five games.
 
Game two is Mon., Oct. 11, game three is Tue., Oct. 12, game four is Fri., Oct. 15 and game six is Sat., Oct. 16.
 
The Shocker roster will be divided into two teams, the Black and the Yellow. The rosters will be announced at a later date.
 
Tickets will be sold for the Sept. 13 and Sept. 27 games and are $5 each. They will be sold at the main entrance starting at 2 p.m. on Sept. 13 and 3 p.m. on Sept. 27.
 
Admission to each game of the Fall World Series is free.

Sat., Oct. 2 — at Nebraska, Noon, Haymarket Park
Sat., Oct. 9 – FWS Game 1, 1 p.m., Eck Stadium
Mon., Oct. 11 – FWS Game 2, TBA, Eck Stadium
Tue., Oct. 12 – FWS Game 3, TBA, Eck Stadium
Fri., Oct. 15 – FWS Game 4, TBA, Eck Stadium
Sat., Oct. 16 – FWS Game 5, 1 p.m., Eck Stadium
