WICHITA, Kan. – The Memphis Tigers held on to defeat the Wichita State University volleyball team, 3-1, in an American Athletic Conference match inside Charles Koch Arena Friday, March 5. The set scores were 21-25, 23-25, 26-24 and 24-26.

Wichita State (8-3, 3-3 American) is scheduled to travel to Tulane for a pair of conference matches March 12-13.

Sophomore
Sophia Rohling led Wichita State offensively for the second straight match, hitting .406 with 16 kills on 32 attempts and three errors, while fellow sophomore
Kayce Litzau posted a team-best 28 assists.
Brylee Kelly also reached double digits in kills with 11.

Freshman
Lauren McMahon added a career and match-best eight block assists, and
Sinalauli'i Uluave tallied a team-high 19 digs, respectively.

Sam Drewry had 17 kills while Sabrina Bianco compiled a match-high 54 assists, leading Memphis (4-5, 1-4 American).
