FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Jie Xin Zheng picked up a win on the fifth matchup against Arkansas' Lauren Alter to deny them their fourth straight sweep and instead fall 6-1 to the Razorbacks at the Billingsley Tennis Center on Thursday.

The Razorbacks proceeded to win their fifth straight doubles point of the season against the Shockers. The ranked matchup versus the top pairs went unfinished as the Shockers fell in No. 2 and 3 doubles.

Singles
In the top spot,
Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva got off to a hot start against the reigning SEC Freshman of the Week Indianna Spink by winning 6-1 in the first set. Spink responded in the second set and the pair played a ten-point tiebreak since the dual had already been decided. The tiebreak fell the Razorbacks' way and Saidhujaeva fell, 1-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-6)

The lone Shocker win came from
Jie Xin Zheng in the fifth spot. Like Saidhujaeva, Zheng took care of business in the first set but dropped the second. This match went to a true third set and Zheng was able to win her first three-set match, 6-2, 1-6, 6-3.
