WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State women's tennis beat Drake for the 17th straight time, 5-2, on Saturday at the Wichita Country Club.

Doubles
Jie Xin Zheng and Ting-ya Hsu got a quick win versus the Drake No. 2 pair, 6-1. At the top, Marta Bellucco and Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva found themselves down 2-1, but they rallied and won the next 5 games to clinch the point.
 
Singles
Bellucco was impressive at No. 2 and won the first singles match of the day, 6-1, 6-1, and Natsumi Kurahaashi also won in impressive style at No. 4, 6-1, 6-3.  The rest of the top pairs for Drake proved resilient and picked up wins on the top court and at No. 3.
 
Alexandra Lazarova clinched the match for the Shockers after waiting for her turn to compete, 6-1, 6-3. Jie Xin Zheng was forced to go the distance to win her singles match, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
