WICHITA, Kan. –Chelsey Feekin (Volleyball),
Brent Kemnitz (Baseball Coach), Aliphine Tuliamuk (Cross Country/Track and Field), Gordon Vadakin (Bowling Coach) and Hunter Veith (Track and Field) have been selected as the 2022 Class of the Wichita State Pizza Hut Shocker Sports Hall of Fame.

A dinner is set for 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 4 at the Beggs Ballroom on the Wichita State campus, while the induction ceremony is scheduled for halftime of Wichita State's Feb. 5 (5 p.m.) men's basketball game against SMU.

Cost for the dinner is $40 per person, and paid reservations can be made online at goshockers.com or by calling the Shocker Ticket Office at 316/978-FANS or in person at the WSU Ticket Office located on the south side of Charles Koch Arena.

The addition of this year's class brings the total of former coaches and student-athletes in the Hall of Fame to 151, while there are 13 at-large selections.

Setter for the Wichita State volleyball program from 2009-13…Named an AVCA Third Team All-American in 2013 and an honorable mention All-American in 2012…Member of four NCAA Tournament teams and helped the team to the 2012 Sweet Sixteen…Helped the team to the 2013 Missouri Valley Conference regular-season and tournament titles…Named first team all-region in 2012 and 2013…Two-time first team all-Valley selection…2013 MVC Co-Player of the Year…Named to the MVC All-Tournament team in 2012 and 2013…Twice named a MVC Scholar-Athlete…Had 34 career double-doubles…Had three career triple-doubles…Finished her career at Wichita State, first in hitting percentage (.431), fifth in assists per set (8.66) and ninth in assists (2,755).

Cross Country runner and distance runner for the Wichita State cross country and track and field programs from 2011-13…Was a 13-time All-American, the most in Wichita State track and field history…Earned 11 All-America honors in track and field, including six outdoor (2011, 5000m and 10,000m; 2012, 5000m and 10,000m; 2013, 5000m and 10,000m) and five indoor (2011, 5000m; 2012, 3000m and 5000m; 2013, 3000m and 5000m)…Finished second overall in the 2012 10,000m NCAA outdoor championships, the highest finish in her career…Was a two-time NCAA cross country All-American, finishing 12th at the 2011 NCAA cross country championships and fourth at the 2012 NCAA cross country championships…Her fourth place finish is the highest in the cross country program's history…Won 13 Missouri Valley Conference titles, 11 in track and field and two in cross country...Was the indoor MVC conference champion in 3000m and 5000m for three consecutive seasons (2011, '12, '13), won five individual titles in outdoor (2011, 5000m; 2012 5000m and 10,000m; 2013 5000m and 10,000m)…Back-to-back MVC individual cross country champion (2011,'12)…2011 Midwest Region Athlete of the Year…Finished her career with seven all-time top-10 records, including four school records that still stand today…Also finished her career with two cross country school records that still stand…Placed first at the 2020 Olympic Marathon trials in Atlanta and represented the United States at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

Built the Wichita State bowling program into a national power as head coach from 1978-2019…Coached 18 national championship teams, including seven for the women and 11 for the men…Coached nine individual national champions…Coached 15 professional bowlers who have gone on to win 61 professional titles…Coached 145 All-Americans, 25 Bowlers of the Year and 239 Academic All-Americans…Led the Wichita State team to 369 tournament wins…Won 45 percent of total tournaments entered…Produced 96 national team members…Member of the United States Bowling Congress Hall of Fame…Member of Team USA in 1983 as an amateur bowler and earned a FIQ World Championships team silver medal…Member of Team USA in 1989 when he won titles in both the USBC Open Championships and FIQ American Zone Championship.
