WICHITA—Two athletes of the Wichita State women's track and field team were selected as members of the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Friday.

Kendra Henry and Rebekah Topham were among 12 women in District 7 (which includes the following states: Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas) to be named to the Academic All-District Team.

Henry was honored for her performance in the classroom as an Engineering Technology major. Henry earned a 3.76 GPA to cap off her senior year.

On the track, Henry scored team points at the AAC Indoor Championships in February. She finished sixth overall in the heptathlon and also competed in the high jump.

Topham finished her senior year with a 3.87 GPA in Sport Management.

Topham earned her second consecutive AAC Indoor Championships' Most Valuable Performer award at the meet in February. She combined for 21 team points and won individual titles in the Mile and 3,000 Meters.

Henry and Topham both graduated in May, but are set to return for the 2021 outdoor season after they were granted another year of eligibility after the 2020 outdoor season was canceled.
