Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva went unbeaten in singles play as the No. 1 and 2 to help the Shockers win three straight en route to being named the American Athletic Conference Women's Player of the Week.

Saidhujaeva, a native of Fergana, Uzbekistan, earned valuable singles points against Xavier, Cincinnati and Louisville at the top two positions. All three matches were close affairs and Saidhujaeva won early in all three to give the team momentum. She won all three of her singles matches in straight sets, highlighted by a win over Lousville's No. 1 Raven Neely, 6-3, 6-3. Saidhujaeva also downed AAC foe Cincinnati's No. 2 Caroline Morton, 6-1, 6-4.

Sadhujaeva and the Shokcers are back in action on Saturday when they head down to Tulsa to face the Golden Hurricane at 1 p.m., in the Case Tennis Center.
