WICHITA, Kan. – Senior All-American
Marius Frosa of the men's tennis team had a stellar week in both singles and doubles play to earn his first honor as American Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

The senior from Galati, Romania, who was recently ranked No. 107 in singles, went a combined 4-0 this week between singles and doubles. He picked up an upset victory alongside his teammate
Murkel Dellien over No 10 Will Davies and Oliver Okonkwo of Iowa on Sunday. He also never lost a set in singles over the course of the week, winning his two singles matches by a combined score of 24-10.

This is the first Shocker to earn this honor in 2020, and the first player since Dellien who was tabbed with the honor last season on February 26, 2019.

Frosa and the Shockers will be back home at Noon on Friday at Genesis Health Club when they take on UT Arlington.
