WSU Notables
- Wichita State opened the season 1-1 after beating Abilene Christian, 6-1, but falling to No. 11 Oklahoma State in similar fashion last Saturday in Stillwater, Okla.
- The Shockers only ranked duo, No. 53 Marta Bellucco and Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva, also went 1-1 and fell to OSU's No. 17 Lisa Marie Rioux/Ayumi Miyamoto.
- Marta Bellucco was the only WSU player to go undefeated last weekend. She beat ACU's Sylvia Viljoen and OSU's Catherine Gulihur.

Scouting the Competition
- No. 19 Kansas has yet to play a dual match, but they competed at the Orlando Invitational from Jan. 10-12 and went 6-3 in doubles play and 8-18 in singles action against competition from Auburn, Rice, No. 8 NC State, No. 20 Virginia, No. 13 UCF, and Texas Tech.
- The all-time series against the Jayhawks is 11-19, but Colin Foster is 3-3 against them.
- Kansas has two players ranked in the ITA singles rankings and one pair in the doubles rankings.
