The Wichita State men's golf team returns to the links Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 16-17 at the Eighth Annual Ram Masters Invitational in Fort Collins, Colo.

The 54-hole tournament, hosted by Colorado State, features two rounds on Monday and concludes Tuesday morning with the final 18 holes. Action on both days begins at 9 a.m. CT (8 a.m. MT) with shotgun starts.

The Fort Collins Country Club is a Par-70, park-style course with tree-lined fairways and mountain views. Elevation is approximately 5,000-feet above sea level.

The Shockers opened their fall season last week in West Virginia at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational.
Dawson Lewis (-2, 211) and
Zac Owens (-1, 212) each finished in the red over 54-holes for WSU, which placed 11
th in a crowded team competition.
Â
The Shockers won the inaugural Ram Masters Invitational in 2012 and have participated every year since. Though WSU has consistently placed well in the team standings, no Shocker individual has ever finished higher than fourth.

Departed senior
Yannik Emmert tied for sixth last year to help WSU to a seventh-place finish out of 17 teams. Best among this year's Shocker returners was Owens, who fired a 1-under, 69 on the final day to tie for 25
th. Lewis also took part.
