Rayvon Allen recorded the seventh farthest long jump in Shocker history, Saturday afternoon at the 92nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Rayvon Allen highlighted the day for the Shockers in Austin, he finished 10th in section A of the men's long jump. On his first attempt, the St. Louis, Mo., native recorded a personal best mark of 7.75m/25-5.25. His second attempt landed at 7.64m/25-0.75 and third attempt at 7.61m/24-11.75. His competition best jump of 7.75m/25-5.25 passes Ralston Varlack (7.74m/25-4.75, 1998) on the Shocker all-time top-10 list.

Other Shockers in action include two women's relay teams in the 4x200m and 4x100m invitational.
Paula Garcia,
Jacque Darby,
Taniyah McMillian and
Sidney Sapp combined to finish eighth in the 4x200m, while
Raianna Maples, Garcia, Darby and McMillian finished 10th in the 4x100m invitational with a time of 45.84. The women's 4x100m invitational field featured five USATF teams.
A little south on I-35 in San Marcos, the women's 4x400m team of
Claudia Rojo,
Tianna Holmes,
Daysha Bullocks and
Anycia Cole won the event with a time of 3:51.64, the only Shocker event title on the final day of competition.

Kelsey Slawson finished third in the women's shot put with a mark of 15.14m/49-8.25, while
Andrea Navarro placed 10th in the women's javelin with a throw of 38.42m/126-0.
Skaila White finished 16th in the triple jump with an outdoor season best mark of 11.72m/38-5.5.

Sydney Wilson ran a personal best 14.58 to finish 24th in the 100m hurdles, while
Anycia Cole equaled her personal best 15.16 to finish 39th. Both Shocker hurdlers placed second in their respective sections.

The men's javelin group highlighted the day for the Shocker men's team, Wichita State finished three throwers in the top-10 in a field of 27 competitors.
Jeff Ast led the way finishing second with a throw of 60.06m/197-0, followed by
Davis Dubbert in fourth (55.63m/182-6) and true freshman Cauy Lindsey in sixth with a personal best mark of 54.63m/179-2.

Joseph Holthusen competed in the men's 110m hurdles, he won section four and finished sixth overall clocking in a collegiate personal best time of 14.47.

Cory Martens finished 17th in the shot put with a toss of 15.67m/51-5.

Wichita State will travel across town to compete in the Friends Spring Open on April 5-6, at Adair Austin Stadium, hosted by Friends University.
