Wichita State's spring men's golf schedule includes a pair of new tour stops.

The Shockers open the spring slate with their first-ever appearance at the Florida Gator Invitational -- Feb. 15-16 in Gainesville, Fla. – and have signed on to compete in Missouri State's Twins Oaks Intercollegiate in Springfield, Mo. on Mar. 23-24.

WSU makes a pair of trips to the Phoenix metro area to take part in the GCU Invitational (Mar. 13-14) and the Cowboy Classic (Apr. 6-7) and later travels to Houston Apr.13-14 for the Bayou City Collegiate Classic.

The schedule culminates Apr. 26-28 in Florida with the American Athletic Conference Championship, which will once again be staged on Innisbrook Country Club's famous Copperhead Course.

A young Shocker team played some of its best golf late in the 2019 fall season, highlighted by a win at New Mexico State's Herb Wimberly Invitational on Oct. 15. Sophomore
Dawson Lewis tied for individual medalist honors and finished the fall with a team-best 55 birdies over 15 rounds. Fellow sophomore
Zac Owens posted three top-20 finishes and had the team's lowest stroke average (71.13).
