PALM HARBOR, Fla. – Wichita State's Brock Polhill is tied for 15^th after two rounds of the inaugural Intercollegiate at Innisbrook.
 
The Shockers finished day one in ninth-place in a loaded 16-team field that includes four nationally-ranked squads. WSU (295-290 – 585) is currently one stroke ahead of No. 16 UCF.
 
Polhill is coming off a career-best finish at the Herb Wimberly Invitational two weeks ago when he tied for 28^th. He's on pace to top that this week. Powered by four birdies, the sophomore shot a 1-under, 70 in the second round to finish the day at +1.
 
Teammates Dawson Lewis (76-71 – 147) also put in a solid afternoon to move into a tie for 39^th. Zac Owens (77-72 – 149) and Joe Bultman (71-78 – 149) are part of a group that's tied for 53^rd out of 90 individual entries heading into Tuesday. Grayson Wallace (75-77 – 152) is 67^th.
