Shockers Named to USTFCCCA All-Academic List

WICHITA, Kan. – Eight Wichita State track and field student-athletes earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors during the 2018 indoor and outdoor seasons.
 
Eight Shocker track and field athletes earned all-academic honors, including five men and three women. A total of 1,498 NCAA Division I student-athletes earned All-Academic accolades, including 624 men and 874 women.
 
The Shocker men earning All-Academic honors include Rayvon Allen, Jared Belardo, Damien Odle, Zack Penrod and Aaron True. The women earning accolades include Kendra Henry, Winny Koskei and Kelsey Slawson.
 
A student-athlete must meet a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale, as well as have finished the season ranked in the top 96 in any championship individual event for the indoor season. For the outdoor season the student-athlete must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships, as well as finish the outdoor season ranked in the top-48 in the east or west regions.
