Bark in the Park Moved to May 6

WICHITA, Kan. –
Wichita State will be hosting the third annual Bark in the Park at the baseball game against Cincinnati on Sunday, May 6 at 10:30 a.m.
 
Pet Supplies Plus, Sydney's Pet Resort and Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita are sponsoring the event.
 
Some of the prizes that will be given out at the event include:
 
• Goody Basket containing a dog bowl, rubber chew ball, chew toy, and treats as well as over 100 Goody Bags with leashes, treats, poop bags, etc. for every fan with a dog on their way in.
 
• Giveaways at the Pet Supplies Plus booth, which include approximately 150 Frisbees, poop bags, bandanas and tennis balls.  Tailbangers dog treats will also be available.
 
For those that bring their dogs, Pet Supplies Plus will have 150 PSP reusable shopping bags/goody bags that will have Free Dog Wash and Redford dog food coupons, plus frisbees, tennis balls, and bandanas in them. 
 
Dog Contests with prizes including $50 Pet Supplies Plus gift cards and a dog bed and Goody Bags valued at $300 each, which contain a certificate for two nights in a vacation suite, two top dog packages & one bath and nail trim. They also contain assorted collars and Sydney's Pet resort swag (frisbee, pens, koozies, etc).
 
 
To ensure everyone has a fun and safe experience at the Bark in the Park event, please read and follow this important information:
 
• Dogs will be allowed to check-in and play in the left field area.
• Owners with dogs will have to buy a ticket at one of the ticket booths then proceed to the gate behind the batter's eye for admission. They CANNOT enter through any other gate.
• All dogs must be kept on fixed length leash (no longer than 8 ft.) at ALL TIMES. No retractable leashes, no dogs off leash. Owners are responsible for their own messes.
• Dog owner assumes responsibility for the action of their dog for the duration of the Bark in the Park event.
 
All participants are required to execute a Release and Waiver. Wichita State reserves the right to reject any dog for any reason. For the waiver form, please click here.
