Final Results

PALM DESERT, Calif. - The Wichita State men's team finished the final day of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in 17th position with Gage Ihrig finishing inside the top 50 individually.

Ihrig carded the Shockers' best individual score in the final 18 holes, a 2-under 70, to finish with 218 and tied for 38th in the 135-player field. 

After leading the Shockers through two rounds, Adrien Michellod carded a 4-over 76 on the back 18 to finish five strokes behind Ihrig at 223 and tied for 64th individually.

Conrad Walcher and Yannik Emmert both finished with 227 and tied for 91st after shooting 75 and 74 in the final round. Kale Reynolds finished 135th with 245 through the three rounds.

California ran away with the tournament (817), finishing 20 strokes clear of Texas Tech in second place who scored 837. Colorado and UCLA rounded out the top four with 845 and 848. 

The Shockers now have a month off before they travel to Phoenix, Ariz., for the GCU Invitational hosted by Grand Canyon University March 16-18.
