PALM DESERT, Calif. - The Wichita State men's golf team is 21st through one round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate with Adrien Michellod leading the team after 18 holes.

Michellod carded a 1-over 73 in round one to finish tied for 33rd individually; his lowest round of golf this season. 

Gage Ihrig, a senior from Goodlan, Kan., is second in the Shocker lineup after carding a 4-over 76 in round one, 10 strokes behind the individual leader and three behind Michellod. 

Conrad Walcher finished a further two strokes behind Ihig with a six-over 78, finishing the day tied for 106th position.

Yannik Emmert and Kale Reynolds rounded out the five man lineup finishing the day with 79 and 81, good for tied 117th and tied 126th, respectively. 

Round two will begin at 7:20 a.m. PT tomorrow with Reynolds teeing off first.
