WICHITA, Kan. – Men's Tennis Head Coach Danny Bryan announced today the signing of Stefan Latinovic to a National Letter of Intent.

At 6-foot-6, Latinovic, who has a big serve and has tremendous upside in singles and doubles play, will join the men's tennis team in the Spring of 2019.

"We are very excited about having Stefan join the team in January. He's a very big guy - 6'6 - and he's got a huge game and big serve. The sky is the limit for him.  He's very motivated to work hard to get his game where he can compete on the pro tour after college," said third year head coach Danny Bryan.

A native of Belgrade, Serbia, Latinovic has reached as high as 12.98 in the Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) while competing in ITF Juniors and Futures events.

In ITF Futures events, Latinovic has reached two main draws in both singles and doubles.  Latinovic, who ranked as high as 1560 in ITF Juniors, knocked off Marko Osmakcic of Switzerland in straight sets at the Macedonia F1 Futures. Osmakcic holds a career high junior ranking of No. 41. Latinovic has compiled wins over Filip Krolo of Germany and Emir Sendogan of Turkey, who currently rank 356 and 182 in Juniors, respectively.

"We are looking forward to getting him here and putting all the pieces together to become a complete player. Getting him stronger in the weight room and getting him where he is playing more comfortable at the net," Bryan said.
