DALLAS - The Wichita State women's tennis team wrapped up play at the SMU Red and Blue Challenge Sunday, tallying four wins at the SMU Tennis Complex.

The Shockers took on host SMU in singles play only. Senior
Sandra Honigova started the day off in the win column for WSU, knocking of Kulicke in a tiebreaker (6-2, 4-6, 10-6). For the Mustangs, Liza Buss knocked off No. 36
Fatima Bizhukova in the second slot (6-1, 6-1). After Bellucco fell to Perez Lopez (6-1, 6-2), Sarvinoz Saidhujavea,
Ting-Ya Hsu and
Alexandra Lazarova reeled off victories.

Saidhujaeva took on Monarrez and rallied to win the final set and tiebreaker (2-6, 6-2, 10-6) and Hsu dropped Hollebeck (6-0, 6-3). To end the day, Lazarova took down Pieroni in straight sets, 6-0, 6-3.

Fatima Bizhukova and
Marta Bellucco, who rank No. 14 in ITA Preseason Rankings, will travel to Surprise, Ariz. for the ITA Fall National Championships set to begin Nov. 7.
