PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Shocker duo Fatima Bizhukova and Marta Bellucco won their third-consecutive match over a ranked opponent Friday, on their way to the semifinals of the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships.
 
The No. 14-ranked duo recorded an 8-4 win over Angela Kuliokov and Rianna Valdes of Southern Cal in quarterfinal action at the Riviera Tennis Club.
 
Bizhukova and Bellucco made history in yesterday's win over the No. 5 team in ITA/Oracle Rankings, becoming the first tandem to reach the quarterfinal of the All-Americans.
 
Along with the win over the three-seed from Wake Forest (Davis/Carter), the two have wins over No. 19 Sophie Whitle and Graciela Rosas as well as today's win over No. 27 Kuliokov and Valdes of USC.
 
It will a Sunflower showdown in the semifinals tomorrow when Bizhukova and Bellucco take on Nina Khmelnitckaia and Janet Koch of Kansas with a time TBA.

With the win, Bizhukova and Bellucco qualify for the Oracle/ITA Fall Championships, Nov. 7-11 in Surprise, Ariz.
