Fatima Bizhukova and
Marta Bellucco recorded two wins in doubles Thursday to reach the quarterfinals for the first time in school history at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships.

Bizhukova and Bellucco, who rank No. 14 in the latest ITA/Oracle Doubles Rankings, took on Sophie Whitle and Graciela Rosas in Thursday's first round doubles main draw and Emma Davis and Chandler Carter of Wake Forest in the second round.

After falling behind early (2-3) to No. 19-ranked Whitle and Rosas, the WSU juniors reeled off six of the next seven games to take the one set match, 8-4.

The two jumped ahead early in the Round of 16 against the three-seed of Emma Davis and Chandler Carter of Wake Forest. After a quick 3-1 start, the Shocker duo never trailed on their way to to an 8-5 win over the No. 5-ranked team in ITA/Oracle Rankings.
The quarterfinal berth for the Shocker pair marks the first time in school history a duo has reached the third round. Bizhukova and Bellucco will take on the winner of UNC's Sanford and Daavettila and Kulikov/Valdes of USC for a spot in the semifinals.
