LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The Wichita State men's golf team finished its fall season at the Herb Wimberly Invitational on Tuesday.
The Shockers finished in ninth place, compiling a team score of 911.
Sophomore Zac Owens obtained his second career top-20 finish after coming up with a 222. His 74 in the final round earned him a tie for 16th.
Seniors Yannik Emmert and Adrien Michellod tied for 54th with scores of 231. Freshman Dawson Lewis shot a 233 to finish in a tie for 62nd while freshman Brock Polhill shot 236 and came up in 67th.
Host institution New Mexico State won the event with a team score of 873, beating UTEP by five strokes.
