VALENTINE, Neb. - Seniors Yannik Emmert and Adrien Michellod made huge strides in day two of The Jackrabbit, each moving into a tie for 12th after 36 holes. Michellod was tied for 32nd after day one after shooting a 75, while Emmert was tied for 37th following Sunday's opening round.

Emmert shot 3-under par on Monday while Michellod shot 2-under par to give himself a 70. Emmert's performance moved him up 24 places, with Michellod's outing boosting him up 18 spots in the individual standings.

Sophomore Zac Owens finished day two with a 76, putting him in a tie for 37th. Sophomore Palmer Hays shot a 77 and is tied for 43rd, on track to claim his highest career finish. Freshman Dawson Lewis shot a 78 in the second round, putting him in a tie for 68th.

American Athletic Conference opponent UCF leads the team standings, with Kansas only behind three strokes. Wichita State is in eighth place after shooting 292 as a team, trailing UMKC by only two strokes.
