"The team showed a lot of resilience and maturity today," said head coach
Colin Foster. "Up and down the lineup, we are making our opponents earn everything. I was especially pleased with Ting-Ya today, she bounced back from a disappointing doubles loss and played her most focused, complete, and - as a result - best match since her arrival. Marija saw her first lineup action of the semester against UMKC, and for her to record a clinching win in doubles and also play well in singles is encouraging."
With the two wins today, the Shockers improve to 4-1 on the season. WSU will host Kansas on Friday, Feb. 17 at the Wichita Country Club. The match will start at 5:00 p.m.
