WICHITA, Kan. -- A red-hot shooting performance in Saturday's win at No. 16 Baylor earned Conner Frankamp a spot on this week's American Athletic Conference Honor Roll.

Frankamp hit five threes on eight attempts and scored a team-high 17 points to help Wichita State snap the Bears' 46-game non-conference home winning streak.

In the process, Frankamp tied teammate Landry Shamet's school record for consecutive games with a three-pointer (29).

The senior played 49 minutes of turnover-free basketball over two games. His 5.25 assist-to-turnover ratio leads The American and ranks in the top-10 nationally.

WSU moved up two spot in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Polls and now ranks No. 6 in each, matching its season high from two weeks ago.

The Shockers (6-1) host South Dakota State (7-3) Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. CT on YurView Kansas (Cox HD 2022). They travel Saturday to Oklahoma State for a 3 p.m. tip on ESPN2.
