WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State senior forward Karon Boyd has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

Boyd, a senior from Queens, N.Y., started all 36 games and ranked second on the team in both scoring (10.1 PPG), rebounding (5.8 RPG), double-doubles (4) and steals (25). He earned American Third Team All-Conference honors, while helping the Shockers to 13 conference wins and a second-place finish in the standings. Boyd scored 10 or more points 23 times, including a pair of 20-point games.

Boyd is the first Shocker to earn academic all-district honors since Graham Hatch in 2010.

The CSC Academic All-District Team honors the nation's top student-athletes for their combined accomplishments on the court and in the classroom.
