Photo GalleryWICHITA, Kan. – The No. 22 Wichita State women came from behind to take the doubles point, then steamrolled through the singles portion of a 7-0 win over Northern Iowa, Saturday afternoon at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.
WSU (19-3, 2-0 Missouri Valley Conference) upped its home winning streak to 30 matches by taking each of the three doubles sets and all 12 singles sets.
The Shockers closed out four singles match points over a span of less than two minutes, as

Rebecca Pedrazzi,
Aleksandra Trifunovic and
Gabriela Porubin quickly raced through their matches by a combined count of 48-6.
Guilia Guidetti (31-5) added a singles win of her own. The sophomore is now tied for second on WSU's single-season victories list – three shy of the record.
WSU trailed early in two of the three doubles bouts, but rallied in response. Down 4-1 on court No. 3, Porubin and Thongsing won five-straight games to win 6-4. Pedrazzi and Trifunovic erased a 3-1 margin on court No. 1 to triumph 6-4.
Throughout the year, WSU team members have served as mentors through the Pando Initiative, and a large group of grade school students from the program came out Saturday to cheer on the Shockers and take part in a free tennis clinic.
"We were thrilled to host our friends from Cloud Elementary today. Being able to share today with them was a lot of fun," WSU head coach,
Colin Foster said. "On the court we started a bit slow in doubles and will try to do better in that area tomorrow, but once we got going we performed very well."
WSU returns to the court Sunday morning against Drake (11-9, 1-1 MVC).
