WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State volleyball team has taken a unique approach to strength and conditioning this spring. The team has been working out three days a week on the indoor sand volleyball courts at the Wichita Sports Forum.
The workouts are led by volleyball strength and conditioning coach
Adam Ringler and he guides them through different drills that Head Coach
Chris Lamb and assistant coaches
Matt Hoffman and
Sean Carter have created.
One of the drills, nicknamed The Bruin, has different stations with activities to help build strength and improve conditioning.
The volleyball players also do different drills that include playing football, soccer and catching a Frisbee.
