WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State will entertain McPherson Thursday for an early afternoon match at 1 p.m. at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.

Last Time Out
The Shockers took down Oral Roberts, 6-1, last Saturday at the Coleman Tennis Complex. Wichita State won the doubles point behind courts No. 1 and No. 2 and then claimed singles victories on all courts except No. 3. Tin Ostojic, Miroslav Herzan, Haru Inoue, Sergio de Vilchez and Austin Williams all registered singles wins on the day.
 
Wichita State Notables
Tin Ostojic moved up eight spots in the ITA singles rankings to No. 78. In the doubles rankings, Miroslav Herzan and Haru Inoue dropped 14 spots to No. 36, but continue to be the highest ranked Shockers. Jocelyn Devilliers and Tin Ostojic slid seven spots to No. 52.

WSU and McPherson have already met once this season back in late October, which the Shockers won, 6-0. In that match, the Shockers won the doubles point and swept all singles matches with the exception of one that did not finish.
 
About McPherson
The Bulldogs have only played three dual matches so far this season and currently sport a 1-2 record. McPherson defeated Newman, 5-4, in late February.
