WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State University men's golf team head to Las Cruces, N.M., Oct. 17–18 as they close out their 2016 schedule at the Herb Wimberley Invitational.
Head coach
Grier Jones has used the Herb Wimberley Invite as his team's fall season closer every year since 2010, last taking home the title in 2012.
Hosted by New Mexico State University at its University Golf Course (7,242 yard, par-71), Wichita State will be joining a host of familiar faces in Grand Canyon, Oral Roberts, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, UMKC and Utah Valley amongst others.
The 54-hole invitational will be played over two days with 36 holes on Monday, Oct. 17 and the final 18 holes on Tuesday, Oct. 18. The competition will begin at 8:30 a.m. MT each day with a shotgun start.
