The 13-team field will be participating in a 54-hole collegiate tournament to be played at the par 72, 6,142-yard Finkbine Golf Course, located in Iowa City, Iowa.
The other teams include: Boston University, Delaware, Missouri State, Rutgers, Bowling Green, Harvard, North Florida, South Dakota State, Bradley, Northern Illinois, and the host school Iowa.
The Shockers finished in third place last year at the Invitational, carding a score of 322-307-307=936.
Meghan Schuetz and
Maria Alejandra Villalobos, who both return this year for WSU, were both tied for seventh place to lead the team.
Wichita State is coming of its second-straight Missouri Valley Conference championship, defeating Missouri State by 13 strokes last season.
