Named a second team All-American in 1998 by ABCA. Named a third team All-American in 1998 by Collegiate Baseball. Named a second team All-American by The Sporting News in 1998. Named a second team All-American by Baseball America in 1998. Named Second All-District in 1997 and first in 1998. Named a first team Academic All-American in 1998. Named all-Valley Scholar-Athlete in 1997 and 1998. Named first team all-Valley in 1997 and 1998. Played for Team USA in 1997. Named WSU Most Valuable Player in 1998 and Most Outstanding Player in 1997. Season Records at WSU:  13th in batting average (.422), 16th in hits (111), eighth in runs (103), 13th in doubles (25), 22nd in home runs (17), 14th in RBI (94), 14th in total bases (191), 14th in slugging percentage (.726). Career Records at WSU:  11th in batting average (.369), 24th in doubles (52), 20th in home runs (29), 13th in slugging percentage (.599)...Drafted by the Cleveland Indians in 1998, making his debut in the major leagues in 2003. Inducted, 2005.
