WACO, Texas -- Wichita State's top doubles team of Tomislav Gregurovic and Tin Ostojic ended their season Friday with a second round loss to Georgia top-ranked duo of Austin Smith and Ben Wagland, 6-2, 6-3, Friday afternoon at the NCAA Men's Tennis Championships.

Gregurovic and Ostojic - both natives of Zagreb, Croatia - posted WSU's first NCAA doubles win in over three decades on Thursday with a Round of 32 victory but fell one win short of All-American status.

Friday's match marked the end of a strong run for one of the most decorated doubles team in school history. Gregurovic is a senior. Ostojic - who reached the Round of 32 earlier the week in the NCAA singles draw - will likely end the year ranked in the top 50 nationally.

The pair tallied a 30-5 record for the year. In addition to their Round of 16 finish in Waco, Gregurovic and Ostojic also reached the quarterfinals of the National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships last fall.
