WICHITA, Kan. — After defeating Drake on Saturday, the Wichita State men's tennis team moved up to No. 61 in Tuesday's ITA rankings.

Wichita State has been ranked for each of the last six weeks, marking its longest streak in the rankings since 2021.

The Shockers have wins over four teams that were also ranked Tuesday: No. 73 Denver, No. 58 Nebraska, No. 54 Charlotte and No. 41 Oklahoma State.

Wichita State remains the third-highest-ranked of six American Conference teams, behind Rice (No. 50) and Charlotte (No. 54), but ahead of South Florida (No. 63), Memphis (No. 68) and Tulsa (No. 72).

Zaid Al Mashni has now been ranked for a seventh consecutive ITA release, coming in at No. 116 on Tuesday. His streak is the longest since Haru Inoue was ranked for eight consecutive releases in 2017.

Wichita State's next match will come at the American Conference Championship, hosted by Tulsa April 16-19.
