Larch-Miller An AA; 4x100 Earns 2nd Team AA

EUGENE, Ore.  -- Nikki Larch Miller ran a 2:19.63 in the 800 meters to finish second, but the effort pushed her score to 5,806, and an eighth-place overall Heptathlon finish and All-American honors at the 2015 NCAA Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field.

UPDATE: Wichita State's 4x100 meter relay moved into 16th place after Kentucky was disqualified which gave the Shocker quartet second-team All-American honors. They placed 17th overall after taking seventh in their heat with a time of 44.89 Thursday evening but learned later of the disqualification, the move to 16th-place and the second-team honors.

Larch-Miller jumped 19-6.25 in the long jump and threw 124-5 in the javelin, and fell to 12th in the competition with 4,977 points before running the 800 meters. | Event-by-Event Heptathlon

Larch-Miller also competed in the 100m hurdles Thursday and finished 17th overall with a time of 13.26 in her final event of the 2015 NCAA Championship.

On Wednesday,  Nikki Larch-Miller won the 200 meters with a time of 23.36 to move into seventh place after Day One of the Heptathlon at the NCAA Track and Field Championship. 

Larch-Miller's wind-aided 23.36 in the 200 meters in the final event of the day moved her from 21st to seventh with 3,515 points. 

On the day she ran 13.15 in the 100m hurdles, jumped a personal best 5-5.25 in the high jump, and threw the shot 34-6 3/4.

In the hammer throw, Weston Cottrell finished 21st with throw of 204-6, on Wednesday.
