EUGENE, Ore. – Wichita State track and field's five student-athletes are set to the compete in the NCAA Outdoor Championships Wednesday through Saturday at Hayward Field.

Five-time All-American Destiny Masters is lined up for her final collegiate heptathlon, looking to add to her long list of accolades in a Shocker uniform. Friesen holds the best-ever heptathlon placing for a Shocker, taking fifth in 2013 with a school record 5,899 points.

Sophomore Josh Parrish is the first student-athlete in Wichita State men's track and field history to qualify to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in three events in the same year, earning entries in the 110-meter hurdles, long jump and 4x400-meter relay. His twin Jason also earned multiple entries to the championship meet, qualifying in the 400-meter hurdles and the 4x400-meter relay, and redshirt-junior Yared Kidane joined the twins with multiple entries, making it in the 800 meters and 4x400-meter relay.
