Tournament CentralTULSA, Okla. - Playing in his first singles match of the season, No. 26
Tin Ostojic fell in the first round of the main draw at the Saint Francis ITA All-American Championships Thursday afternoon at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Ostojic was defeated in straight sets by Northwestern's Konrad Zieba, 6-3, 6-4. He will now try to navigate his way through the consolation bracket for a chance to play in the USTA/ITA National Indoor Tournament in New York.
"Tin got the momentum turned in the second set and was just a point or two away from getting in control of taking the set," said head coach
Brad Louderback. "He has a lot to play for in the back draw and he will grow from today's match."
Up NextAfter the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships, the Shockers will travel to Fayetteville, Ark., for the ITA Central Regional from Oct. 15-19.
