LINCOLN, Neb. - Several members of the Wichita State track and field team won five events in the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolf Invitational on Friday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center Indoor Track prior to Saturday's Mark Colligan Memorial. | Complete Results
On the men's side, Tucker Davis was champion in the 200 meters with a time of 48.89, while Jon Duvall won the 200 meter dash in a time of 22.14, with teammate Alex Reed third in 22.31.
Marcus Moeder finished runner-up for WSU in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.96.
In the 5K, WSU finished second, third and fifth with Kilian Schreiner running 15:03.07 to pace WSU. Gage Garcia finsihed third in a time of 15:09.17 and Kyle Larkin finsihed fifth in 15:27.97.
On the women's side, Shockers Nikki Larch-Miller, Taylor Larch-Miller and Marli Bartlett finished first , second and third in the 60 meter dash. Nikki won the race in a time of 7.58, with Taylor running a time of 7.74 and Bartlett running a 7.89.
Shanice Andrews was champion in the 60 meter hurdles with a finals time of 8.81, while she was also runner-up in the long jump with a best jump of 16-09.75.
Kayla Deighan won the 3000 meters with a time of 10:10.99, while Lycia Hollon ran the 5K and finished second in a time of 17:31.94, just four seconds behind the champion.
The Shockers return to the track tomorrow for the Mark Colligan Memorial where they will compete against host Nebraska and Oral Roberts in the scored meet at the Devaney Center. The field events are slated to begin at Noon, with the running events starting at 1:30 p.m.
