WICHITA, Kan. – Ashley Andrade and Sam Sanders had 13 kills and 12 kills respectively as the Shockers swept the Indiana State Sycamores, 25-10, 25-15, 25-15. Chelsey Feekin collected 33 assists and Dani Mostrom had 10 digs in the win.

Wichita State hit .541 as a team for the match and that ranks second on the all-time single match hitting percentage list in Wichita State Volleyball history.

Wichita State used a 7-0 run to break a 6-6 tie in the first set behind four kills from Andrade and three from Katie Reilly. The Shockers rallied off eight of the next nine points to take a commanding 21-8 lead and a service ace by Sanders and a ball handling error by the Sycamores ended the set and gave Wichita State the 25-10 first set win.

The Shockers jumped out to an early 7-1 lead early in the second set that was highlighted by a service ace from Reilly. Indiana State answered Wichita State's run with a 6-1 run to get within 8-7 and would tie the second set at 12-12 after a service ace from Taylor Reckards. Wichita State rattled off the next five points to take a 17-12 advantage and a kill from Ashlyn Driskill gave the Shockers a 21-15 lead. Another 4-0 run by Wichita State gave the Shockers the second set, 25-15.

Back-to-Back kills from Sanders gave Wichita State a 5-0 lead to open the third set and two attack errors and another Feekin kill put the Shockers up 9-2 and forced a Sycamore timeout. Out of the timeout, Wichita State scored six of the next nine points to take a comfortable 16-7 lead behind Reilly's third service ace of the match. Blocks by Kristin Byers and Elizabeth Field put the Shockers up 21-9 and service error by the Sycamores gave Wichita State the third set win and sweep, 25-15.

The Shockers will close out the regular season on senior night tomorrow, Nov. 9 at 7 pm.
