Box Score WICHITA, Kan.- The Wichita Sate baseball team fell, 4-1, in
game three against Dallas Baptist on Sunday afternoon at Eck Stadium.
Mitch Mormann took the loss on the mound for Wichita State, allowing
two runs on three hits.
Micah Green went 1-for-3 with an RBI at the plate for the
Shocks.
The Patriots got on the board with one run in the third
inning on a sacrifice fly by Landon Anderson that scored Kenny Hatcher.
Dallas Baptist added another in the fourth when Ryan
Behmanesh singled to left-center field to plate Joel Hutter.
In the fifth, back-to-back singles by Ryan Behmanesh and
Duncan McAlpine would score Boomer Collins and Ronnie Mitchell to put the
Patriots up, 4-0.
The Shockers would avoid the shutout by getting a run in the
bottom of the ninth when Micah Green singled to score Kevin Hall.
The Shockers will welcome Kansas State to Eck Stadium on
Tuesday. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on Kansas 22.
